OptiFlow Safe 2 is a scintillation cocktail for use in flow counting especially in combination with Z-cells of the BERTHOLD HPLC radioflow detector FlowStar LB 513. It comprises selected solvents and surfactants chosen to give rapid mixing with eluates, high counting efficiency and to be non toxic, non flammable and low odour.

OptiFlow Plus has been formulated to meet the special requirements of radio HPLC and in particular the counting of solvent/water gradients when using a Z-cell of the BERTHOLD radio flow detector FlowStar LB 513. OptiFlow Plus prevents the formation of gels or viscosity liquid stream. In addition to solvent/water gradients OptiFlow Plus formulation is balanced for water and lower ionic strength aqueous solutions.
