Since the company founder Prof. Dr. Rudolf Berthold started manufacturing of the first instruments in spring 1949 with 9 employees, he shaped the successful course of the company, which today has grown into a globally recognized company with 330 employees.
Over the last 6 decades BERTHOLD's high performance measuring instruments for Process Control, Life Science Bioanalytic and Radiation Protection have been developed, manufactured and sold worlwide with great success.

60 years of experience in technology are an excellent basis for future instrument generations.
