Detection of Polonium Po-210 Contamination

There was recently Polonium contamination found at several places in the UK, in Germany and in aircrafts. Po-210 contamination can be easily detected by using a handheld contamination monitor capable of alpha particle detection. BERTHOLD TECHNOLOGIES offers the LB 124 SCINT contamination monitor for this purpose. The instrument has a high efficiency for alpha particle detection and even extremely low contamination levels can be quickly detected.
