The TOL/F is a modern doserate meter with an air- equivalent ionization chamber with gas amplification covering the photon energies from 10 keV up to 7 MeV. The TOL/F is the successor of the old analogue TOL/E, which was famous for it’s wide ranges in both gamma energies and intensities. The TOL/F is the ideal instrument for monitoring doserates in the vicinity of x-ray units because of it’s sensitivity for low energy x-rays. It is well suited for the detection of periodical or burstwise pulsed radiation.
