The LB 2045 is a modern gamma spectroscopy system for activity measurements in laboratories. It is easy to operate and provides quick and reliable measurement results which are clearly presented on a large graphical touch panel display (320 x 240). Various scintillation probes are available e.g. for Marinelli beakers, or as 2" well-type crystals.
Applications of for the gamma spectrometer LB 2045 are mainly in nuclear medicine, e.g. for in-vitro tests, radio-immunoassays, in the analysis of environmental samples, e.g. waste water, or determination of activities in food samples.
The system is in a desktop housing (½ 19") comprising processor, graphical display with a touch panel, power supply, high voltage supply, preamplifier and a fast ADC with 1024 channels for pulse height analysis.
Softkeys enable easy and intuitive control of operation and spectra are nicely displayed on the large screen. Evaluation of the activity measurement can be performed by defining regions of interest (ROIs). Several service functions including background measurement, energy calibration and halflife correction are available. A comprehensive nuclide library supports the analysis.
For communication with an external PCs there is a serial RS232 port.
